OFPDR is not as detailed or great as I had expected, but still pretty fun. Haven't played it that much, I'm on start of mission 3 on hardcore.

Some things I feel that I must complain about though.

-Animations feel pretty "stiff". Reload animations etc are also wrong.
-Weapon sway isn't affected by sprinting. So it's hard to tell how much fatigue affects accuracy.
-Too many tracers!

I bought it yesterday and have to say I agree. I appreciate what it's trying to do, but it fails to pull it off thanks to bad squad AI and cheap enemy uber-vision. I'm trading it in for Brutal Legend on Friday, and I don't often trade games in.

A decent tactical shooter is Rainbow 6 on N64 or Full Spectrum Warrior on PS2. This game may well be decent if you play it the same way the developers designed/made it, but if you try and do something different it just becomes a tedious exercise in unexplained deaths.

A shame because I think I could have really enjoyed it had I not been shot through tree canopies so many times. And I buy games because I want to play them, not wander along watching my AI team mates complete it for me, because they have the same uber-vision the enemy does.

im really enjoiyng OFPDR, granted it has a few issues.... AI are poor, but this doesnt affect me as i play co op so AI are not even part of it

Only need two more achievements now.... "ruthless efficiency" and complete on hardcore. Not far to go on hardcore now, were only mission 8. Really enjoying it.

I've been struck off work with a bad back, damaged the muscles so effectivly house bound for 2 weeks. So at the present time (until this friday) i have far to much time on my hands. Im just gald i have this to play and IL2 otherwise i'd be EXTREMELY bored.

Anyone know how to save the pilots of the downed cobra? My team (for some reason endedup on the other side of the village and im covering both of em'. But their moving slow, so anyone knoww how i can get them to move!

Other then that ive used allot of vehicles. In the airfield mission i shot down the attack chopper were it needed allot of repai, so i went in it for like, 9 seconds before the mission was accomplished.

give them "move to grid reference" orders, usually works. Just saying "follow me" doesnt seem to work properly. Its damn annoying that part, i hated it. Damn buggy.
