Patch 4.11 not working

Hi,

I have a issue with Il2 1946 that I bought over Steam.
The version I received is 4.09 and it is working fine.

However all on-line server that I found are already running 4.11

There is no option to update the game via Steam so I downloaded the patch myself and installed in manually.
I did select the proper installation location (Program files -> Steam -> SteamApps -> Custom -> Il2 installation folder)

But after I launch the game it almost immediately returns back to desktop.
No error message.

I have Win7 system but I don't think that this is the problem since unpatched game works well.

I really want to play on-line.
Ubisoft and Steam support are not helpful at all.

Can someone please assist?

Did you apply the v4.11 hotfix ?

Check here for patching list.

Be careful not to install the dedicated server patches.

You missed the patch 4.10 and 4.10.1 which need to be installed before 4.11. Unfortunately, since we're only semi-official, Steam is not on our scope (or we aren't on theirs) so I have no idea if and how they get wind of additional Il-2 1946 updates.

Stupid mistake that simply did not cross my mind....

Now it works fine.
