What's the best font to use? Is there a place where you can get the historically correct font to use?

No one offered to help me out by making the skin. That's fine. But I would appreciate a little help in doing it myself

EDIT: It would be a great thing for people like me if there was a sticky thread in this subforum that had a list of good resource websites for things like fonts, etc. I've searched but I mostly get "FREE FONT!" websites that are anything but.

EDIT #2: I just found simmerspaintshop.com which seems to be a good repository of stuff. I'll go with what I find there unless there are better suggestions.

In Simmerspaintshop, you may want to give particular attention to RCAF_60SQO_ATH.

And DIN 1451 Mittelschrift will serve for Luftwaffe unit codes.

The games manual also goes into detail regarding unit codes . It should be in a pdf in the manual folder, or look for the "read manual" option in steam.
