I tried the new track of abu dhabi but it has the same problem as before... sometimes it does not recognize when you pass a gate...
Any solution? |

randomly it does not count the gates, sometimes it says START and it does not start to count the gates from the starting gate or sometimes it loose a gate without any reason and it is not because it is a too high pass since a too high passage gives a 2 second penalty, when it counts the gates...
max speed at start gate should be 310 or 300?? at 304 it gives already the disqualification... in this way there is no margin, while we should have a penalty of 2 seconds if you pass within 10km/h from max speed... Ciao |

To conclude another thing to consider is that the anemometer is not giving the same speed that is taken in account from triggers, if you pass at 300IAS you will be disqualified so, to solve the problem, I think that the reference should be 300IAS from anemometer as max speed and speed restrictions triggers should be corrected so to have this error/difference in account... I once again will check a gate.
In Red Bull Air Race to control the speed there are laser sensors and determine the speed of up to thousandths, and we have only to two decimal places, and there is no penalty in the rules for speed, only a disqualification. ![]() In these race skill not only fly, but also correctly calculation for real and indicated airspeed. On accurate flying and correct calculation speed depends race results. No calculations obtained arcade. Or want to get an arcade ? ![]() |

In those tracks is not like this and it should be if you want to make it like real... regarding speed in real life at sea level IAS=TAS=GS (i'm not considering GS since there is no wind in game) so if you read 300km/h on anemometer you should have 300km/h also at gate speed check... so is not arcade but realistic |
