yes everyone who pays for a product or service has NO RIGHT to complain about that that product or service turns out....

at least this seems to be what most of the fan boys think here...

like the people who say "if you dont write code you have no right to complain about it"

which is no different that someone saying you cant criticize cooking unless you are a chef,

Yet here you are complaining about it......who exactly is stopping you? People are just as entitled to express their opinion if they think you are incorrect.

But after 10 mins with the sim i was far from impressed so i came to these forums to read some posts on here and then i realized i had made a major mistake to say the least. How could they sell this game on steam in this current state its like daylight robbery i wish i would of read up on the forums first before i purchased. But i thought to my self i used to play the old il2 and it was great so didnt think it would be a problem. I could of used that money to pre order the new ROF content instead atleast with 777 studios you know the new dlc content will be top notch and i would get my moneys worth and then some. Really sad how this once great series has ended up this bad.
Turn off the epilepsy filter.

I'm probably assuming a bit, but if you fly RoF, then you probably visit their forums. I've been on them enough to know that CoD's taken it's share of lumps there, and that if you paid an ounce of attention you'd have known about CoD's condition - at least a little bit.

That said, I feel your pain - just like every one else here.

Edit: I have to honest here. I NEVER buy a game without looking at a developer's forum and getting an idea of how the game has progressed. Being a rivet counter has nothing to do with it. I try to look out for my money and spending habits by investigating a little bit. It doesn't take much. I DID buy CoD to invest into it's future. I knew full well about it's limitations and bought it any way.

Good luck. I hope they can fix it enough to satisfy us all. I know 1C is working their arsses off to accomplish just that.

ROF wasn't finished either when it was released, and it slowly got much better. COD was released more unfinished, and it will just take alittle longer to get sorted. So the new IL-2 series hasn't ended, its just started. There should be a patch for COD in the coming weeks which should make the sim much more playable for most people. So no the sky isn't falling, and the COD community is thankful for your investment in the new series.

What problems are you having after 10 mins to make the statement," But after 10 mins with the sim i was far from impressed "

I Know after 10 minutes I still was amazed how great the Graphics looked and the benefits of a clickable cockpit. Also the time that is needed to get your controls right not to mention the realistic engine management system.
Maybe you should put a few hours into the above then make a educated appraisal. Don't get me wrong fox3 there are issues with the game but fortunately they are few and far between for me,touch wood.

Also mate what are your system specs, they would have a effect on performance as well. I could go on but i won't.

There is an old saying in the lucky country down under ... She'll be right mate! .... and it will sooner rather than later. The devs seem to be working hard to make this sim even greater than it already is for me.

and it ruins the fun cus it can happen at anytime. I have a core i52500k@4.6ghz 8gig mem win7 64bit nvidia gtx460 yeah i know the gpu is not great but still should be able to run things on normal with no aa. And yes ive turned the epilepsy filter off and cockpit mirror which i also read about but still get random ctd
