Is it possible to choose the ordnance for each pylon individually (Bombs, droptank) to get all possible combinations or or will there be predefined set of loadouts as in Il-2? If the system stays the same, will it be possible for users to create their own new loadouts?

Will individual fuel tanks in the planes be modelled and will it be possible to select them manually?

I believe that Oleg has said that the fuel system will be redone (but nothing specific at this point).

interesting idea, makes flying over the channel with a fuel leak a bit more angsty.

If you look at the aircraft models publicised already you will see that all of the fuel tanks are modelled and also critical engine components like cooling systems and oil reservoirs seem to be included.

It seems likely that these will be used in the damage models so that hits in specific locations will have the appropriate effects. I dont recall whether its been stated that fuel tanks would be individually selectable though. If they were then it would be good to model the variation in centre of gravity as a result of fuel usage. This would give more motivation to manage fuel correctly.

Oleg, I have good question for you .......Will a pilot gain more airtime if he manage his engine well, and flying at lower RPM????...( I'm thinking the 109 here, and it's limited fuel)

I believed it is already integrated in IL2, isn'it?
