Any future development would just be a matter of using the current engine which, hopefully, would be fully fixed by this upcoming patch and the handful (I'm guessing) that will come after it.

The majority of the CTD's that can easily be reproduced is when you fly multiple 2 and 4 engined aircraft close together by live players on a multi-player server for extended periods of time.

As long as they did a simple test and flew 4-6 multiple engine aircraft (preferably tested with more) operated by live players close together (ie formation) on a MP server for a couple hours or more without any CTD's then that would be solving the majority of the CTD issues for many.

Yep. I sure hope it's fixed. I also hope the bomb sights are fixed, so we can go open a big can of Blitzkrieg on the poor Tommies.
