So people arn't allowed to criticize the all powerfull 1C/MG debarcle or the 'f%^k you' attitude that appeared from the Devs?

The game may run reasonably well now on upper mid/high end systems if you only want online play (and those servers that there are don't cater for squad based co-ops or are very poorly populated as a rule) but what of the offline content (or lack of)?
The main crux of this game is meant to be the channel map, but unless you can play with codes/scripts etc it can't be used online, personally I don't want to fly on some mickey mouse cross's and rounds map.
The squad I am in had high hopes to run campaign based co-ops but have gone back to 1946 (HSFX) because of its ease of use and adaptablity, something CLoD hasn't (and won't) have.
The dev's themselves said that co-ops on the channel map arn't going to be sorted and we will have to wait for a sequel (as yet pie in the sky) that might sort it. How many will shell out for that, once bitten and all that?

How many people paid good money for a product that required 18 months to even start up nearly every time (I still get CTD's) and how many of those same people have said 'sod it' to what was potentially a game changing formula and moved to other things?

I would take it as a kindness if you would put me on your ignore list. Do not quote me, do not participate in any threads I might create, and do not view any of my posts ever again.

Quite, and of course Krupi will now get banned for his name calling and personal attacks. That's if the moderators are impartial and adhere to the rules, and as a scrupulous and fair-minded bunch I'm sure they will.

As for Luthier, I don't know you but well done for doing your job.

I have been banned before for biting on the post of these ignorant fools before HOOD so they are doing the job but there are not banning the people that deserve to be only the ones that react to the crap they post.

So yeah complain and report me I don't really care anymore I am just fed up of the utter ignorance of these trolls!

the only problem i see with oleg (but it is a big issue) is that he didnt manage the SoW project hands-on directly himself, and that he had many other projects on the go at the same time. some of the people he delegated to (like the gfx engine programmers) needed much closer supervision, and in the old il2 development day oleg was in control of that and in the office overseeing his staff continuously. oleg was obviously given lots of slack from seniour management because of his good track record in the previous il2 series, but they are to blame as well because the constantly slipping timelines (about 5 yrs ?) should have been an indication not all was well in the management of the project itself.

i just hope that if there is again a change in SoW management, that they say on course and intend to release BoM next year, rather then completely change their plans again and require a major rework of what was created in the last 18 months for BoM. this constant reorganization can be very damaging and significantly increases the risk of no project being completed at all because of constantly shifting goals and objectives.

but this is luthiers day, let's not digress

and luthier, if it so happens you have more free time available, emm err, how about refocusing on the korean war era flightsim you were working on before i still have very fond memories of mig alley, both as a early jet flightsim, as well as the dynamic campaign system it used, and many of us here still hope a good modern flightsim of that era will be created
