Yep, same thing happens to me too. Guess it's another bug for ATi to solve, nobody noticed it since we haven't used any of their drivers for the last 7 iterations...

Try setting Catalyst AI to OFF. Also might want to try with VertexArrays enabled, both of them set to 1. I never had those flashes.
