Be assured, thats the only thing you've bought, no right of information, no "moral obligations", nothing else, beside the obligation to fix bugs and errors, and that is already happening.
hmm.. why am I patientless, because I am asking about news regarding the progress of patching things which were advertised as working when selling the game?

had this been any other kind of product, I would have returned it already, and asked my money back.

and do count I've bought a collector's edition, for 50 £, and not because I wanted anything fom the CE box, but because I wanted to support MG.

and I haven't demanded "fix those now!", I just made a realistic request considering the situation, and my desire to still have il2CoD running: give us a regular update on the situation.

I don't need Luthier talking to me, or respond me any question, I just need them to make a post once a week, be it friday, in which they would update us with the current situation of the work on the patches.

this "waiting" is a thing which shows they don't care about our time, nor about respecting us. it would have been easier for everyone: just log in once a week, to find out what's the progress, and in one of those, also when the following patch is to be expected. and you can be sure the forum wouldn't be filled anymore with countless whines and sensless threads.

that's all. do you find that sooo an out-of-the-ordinary and not-so-reasonable request, considering the whole situation?!!

I agree totally 100%, the trouble is in here people dont read between the lines and a post like this somehow is seen by lots of others in here as a ''Your not fixing this game, its rubbish and we want a patch now god dammit'' which from what i read in here isnt the case...Im not seeing hardly any of that..what i am seeing is a request for info/update on certain aspects of the game but again..It seems to be taken way out of proportion and turns into a flame war....

If you dont want updates and your happy then dont read the thread..is it so hard? if people want something and feel they deserver it this is the place they ask, why people then decide its their duty to get a police badge out and stick on the brown nose is just..well, hilarious..thats what turns this forum into a slag fest imo...if you don't agree with the thread don't join it, your obviously happy with every aspect of this game so you dont need to concern yourself with others..let people speak and ask what they want..if no one in interested and the devs dont reply so be it...keep yer nose out of it and this forum will be a better place

Anyway...to answer your last question... yes they do see it as out of the ordinary strangely enough

Какой хороший Приглашаем к американцам.
Но вы забыли канадцы, которые также имеют игру теперь ...
Во всяком случае, это нормально, мы привыкли быть всегда оставлял позади ...

Translation:
What a nice welcome for the Americans.
But you forgot the Canadians who also have the game now...
Anyway, that's okay, we used to be always left behind ...

You don't seem to realize that a weekly update doesn't make the patch come out earlier.
You just don't trust that the devs are working on the patch.
But if the devs were so untrustworthy, they easily had the time to write some nice sentences to pacify the impatient instead than working on the patch.

Default Will IL-2 COd ever be fixed?

Are we at the point now where IL-2 COD is not fixable? We've seen some patches but so far the perfomance is still a big problem. Should we come to the realization of IL-2 COD will never work better than it does now? Should we just wait for the next version that uses a completely new engine?? For instance, look at Microsoft Flight Simulator---this engine will never perform well no matter how much HW you throw at it!! It's all in the "Engine". No matter what, the IL-2 series will always have my loyalty and i'll hang in there for the long run!

Just Saying....

performance is not a problem for me, with the system in my signature, IL2CoD plays perfectly well, without any kind of microstutters, with everything on max.

Nah, code can be rewritten. The sound is being rewritten at the moment. It may be a painful process, but it can be done if required.
Whatever add-on's we see will use the same engine as Clod.
