Default No Zoom in Custom Layout in Sim mode

Hey guys I want to know have any of you made a 100% custom layout under
the custom section, or the custom pc joystick section, and been able to use zoom in sim mode ?

No matter what button I assign to zoom it doesn't work in sim mode.

HOLD OFF on buying any pc sticks !
Unless you don't play sim mode.
You have zoom in every mode under a custom layout except sim.

Unless someone on here can tell me they are using a custom pc joystick layout and they have zoom.

Yes the problem is there zoom works if you pick a default layout but if you try to assign it, it doesn't work. Hopefully Anton and his team will try to figure this out and let us know.

Gutted! Been working on this since the patch was released but as previously mentioned above, the custom zoom button of your choice will work on the 2 modes where it is not necessarily needed (due to being able to target & padlock) but on the mode where it would be near crucial (Sim), it doesn't work.

Where the pad is concerned, this is a huge blow. The nearest you will get to being able to enjoy the freedom of looking around via the Right Stick without clicking R3, & have the zoom in Sim mode; is default layout 3 but the zoom being on the square button is extremely hard to use when viewing & flying at the same time.
A work around would be to have the zoom on the L3 click button but for some reason, this (or any other assigned button) doesn't work for Sim custom maps.

Really hope this can be solved!!!
