Ashamed you should be !

Yep, I agree totally! The amount they are charging for 2 planes and some boring single play missions...is just crazy high!!! There were going to be released in full version of this game around 400 planes. Now we are going to have to buy all these they decided not to add and at a VERY HIGH PRICE. Shame on you you greedy#$%^@

With the world economy as such you should be lucky people even bought the original... You are sounding like those greedy new world order bankers shafting other people on purpose!

What will happen down the line is this...there will be down loadable content, at a high price, that you will not need to buy, but in order to play online you will need these costly DLCs or be stuck playing single play missions. Let me guess...$20.00 a month of DLC so as to play online?

its true it cant be denied sadly.

Dont get me wrong I love this game, i have bought and played all the IL2 series from the word go. And when my pc broke and i got the xbox i was thrilled to hear this game was coming.

So why shaft the console community?
Seems that we are all just to be taken advantage of because we own consoles?

I think this for me just boils down to the moral conduct of businesses who feel its ok to do this sort of thing, and by that i mean sell content with held from a game that clearly needs some urgent patching and changes made to it.

WTF happened to the first DLC you recieve will give you cockpits for Axis aircraft!

I will buy the content when its worth buying and what is needed to make the game complete and playable.

No one needs to defend them on forums because either way they couldnt give a fishes tit if consumer joe bloggs is happy or not.Their money is already made, and We are all treated like fools equally.

At the start what the devs made us believe (and what they themselves believed) was that the update and DLC would come out at the same time. Thus you may have mistakenly come to believe the cockpits would come with the DLC. This is not true. As posted on many threads on this forum the DLC was created before the game was released. This was anticipating customer demand. It had nothing to do with leaving out something from the game. Very late in the designing stage someone decided the German planes should be playable online (this was not their inital planning), so they made them playable, but without the cockpits. These will come with the update.
And do not accuse the devs of not giving a rat's ass. They have listened to our problems, and many have been taken into account for the update. They treat us better than any other dev team out there. If you have something to say about the publishers, send them an email, don't go b*tching at the devs.
