Those will never work. Your eyes can't focus on a screen 2 inches away for very long and the pixels would have to be microscopic. The smallest 1080P monitor is still 28" diagonally.

Actually head mounted displays (or "highdef goggles" as he put it) work perfectly fine, good ones happen to cost over 10,000 us dollars. The technology needs to advance to make them affordable for gamers/sim enthusiasts.

Well, the hat option is pretty tricky to get accustomed to. Track IR seems semi-inexpensive, and already proven, so why not.
Also, since we're talking ridiculous options, I'd like a mini-plane I could climb into, shove a quarter in the slot, and get some real movement while I fly. Ferigno99 |
