I bought my 52" phillips LCD 1080p last year.
Several other ps3 people have had the same issue.

I just have a little 23" or so, and it's nothing special. But it does the job I'll be sure to tell you if there's any tearing in my screen when I get the full version. But the demo has given me no problems.

Someone else said it is because my screen refreshes at 60hz instead of the better 120hz but who knows.
