Perhaps the devs could set up the controls so that moving the stick down left or down right would flick the view so you were looking back over your shoulder in the respective direction. There isn't really much else you can do without analogue input.

Someone just wrote in the aviator thread, that the saitek had no range of motion with the hat switch, so go figure. I guess i'll deal with it. Cause if the aviator had full range, i would have to get it.

Good to know, thank you. I'll stick to my guns with the TM. <-- that was terrible, I know. |

I just got the TM and I am loving it!
I setup a chair in front of my 56", set a little stool on my left and put the throttle there. Then I set up another stool in front of me for the stick. Now all I need are some flight goggles and a flight cap! ha ha The only thing I haven't figured out yet is how to issue the commands with the TM setup? I am currently using TM setup #1. Does anybody have any idea what the difference is? Or have a button layout for each configuration? |

The Xbox 360 version of the Aviator has a full analogue PoV stick, and not just an 8-way hat switch. I can't say whether it's the same for the PS3 version – I'd have to go play with one in a store.
