I have made a thread a few weeks back and have some friends from that post. My friends and I and i think a few on here are waiting until the game comes out to make a move. Im not bashing a well oil machine no matter how big. Im sayin for those who are getting pilots just to increase their numbers will be dissappointed when they find out they might just be cannon fodder
I will fly with anyone on here if they want to have fun, fly together, and kill together. For those who play the IL2 on PC know how great the personal reward is for saving a buddy who is close to getting shot down. Or the thrill of being vastly outnumbered and fighting for your life. i hope to make many friends and fly with many more
I think a lot of it has to do with the squadron. There are many units out there who are just looking for a power trip, but were not all like that.
The 86th has a policy: No drama...period. Anyone involved in drama will find themselves out on the curb. Unfortunately you can't forsee who will be a problem and who will not before a member joins, but it is up to the staff to recognize problems and deal with them swiftly. I've had a few troublemakers over the years, but they usually don't last very long.
Secondly, when you speak about those who don't fair well in the air, I think thats half the point of being in a squadron. The 86th has a flight training program run by our top scoring aces. It allows the nuggets to learn one on one from people who have been playing for years.

On a side note, we used to have a euro division. Problem was I couldn't find anyone to host the bi-weekly meetings or coordinate events. If there is enough interest, I would consider setting it up for you guys. All you would have to do is find an honest person to keep score.
