it's a very good idea! infact if you set no enemies or few enemies you can make formation flights with your friends and try some attack techniques.
The best thing would be a full mission editor but I think that it could be very difficult have it on a console...

Well (this is just my assumption there) you might be able to fly with no enemies on a PRIVATE online match. Nearly every MP game has this setting so you can play w/ friends. All you need to do is set to Dog Fight and have everyone work together for formations.

But other than that this idea is AWESOME! But seeing has how I'm on a roll with my speculations

If you look at the demo, on the main screen, there is an option that says "TRAINING." This could very well include something like a free-flight option so you can get the hang of things, but I would LOVE the inclusion of having to go back to base for ammo and fuel as that would add to the immersion factor x 100000.

Anton did state you can use the training just for free flight. But if you host a private match you should be able to do what you want, there would be no AI.

Com on Anton and all the DEVS, the poll is 100%-0%. WE WANT CO-OP!!!! I wouldn't care if they put the release date back a bit, as long as theirs CO-OP im am perfactly fine.
