are the AI more "lethal" in single missions?

God i love stuff like that, you feel dissapointed that you have crashed but there is also an overwhelming feeling that what just happend was epic!

I love that too. Once an Me 109 got behind me and filled my plane with holes. I couldnt see out the cockpit and there were holes everywhere in the cockpit. he then shot my wing off and I went spinning out of control and crashed. And it was pretty cool because I was in the cockpit while it was happenning.
