Haven't tried it But I'm almost sure that it is possible by changing in game files.

To have your name choice as the default and not type it again and even to not have to delete current default.

Yep I'm very lazy. In fact the best would be just that the game remind the last name I type in. Thanks there's the cheat code that allows change hero name later. For a cheat code this one is very original.
