Sweet!
It really looks promising. I'm one of those guys that really like the added immersion that force feeedback gives me... Have been wearing my MS FFB2 down for many years without any alteranatives. Bought a Cyborg Evo Force when it hit the market - but I gave it to a friend after using it for a week and went back to the FFB2... Have looked at the X52 etc but I really want the FF effects so this is definately something that I have been waiting for - a serious FFB joystick. Lets just hope that it has "it". I really didn't like Logitech back in the days when all their gear felt cheap, but lately they have shaped up - I really love my G5 mouse and G15 keyboard (and Harmony remote)... /Mazex |

About Flapp'n time some one brought out a FFB HOTAS set.
I hope they don't use those crappy pots that die with in the first 5 min of opening the box. |

but with IL2 you can't make use of the spit throttle

That depends on the user, I guess, because I can:
Agreed that IL2 does not support split-throttle, but I can still make use of it, by assigning prop-pitch to the second throttle! Or maybe flaps, trim, etc. And then, IL2 doesn't support it, because it was designed with a main focus on single-engine fighters and fighter-bombers to be controlled by the player. Looking at the bombers in BoB, I have no doubt that the SoW-Engine will support split-throttles. |
