Still crashing on freedom isle

I registered to this forum just to voice my dismay of having to start a new game for the THIRD time just because of the patches. First it patched and my game wouldn't load, it crashed right away, then I started a new game played a while, and then it patched again, and now THIS save game wont work anymore either. GOD DAMNIT!

Fix that bug, because its freaking annoying, and I will NOT play it again for the third time, just to get it to become invalid from the next patch.

EDIT: phew, venting. Anyway, wouldn't have been that big a deal if it was a crappy game, but it isn't Usually been quite happy playing 1C games.
