Is there some sort of Russian Conspiracy going on here? As I just picked up the current issue of AEROPLANE, well I say current issue, but this is the cheaper non airmail version so it is actually the November 2016 issue. But take a look at the bottom left corner of the cover, this issues plane database features the Polikarpov Po-2

Has searchlight behavior been improved?
Those searchlights in the U-2 night ops track are absolutely blinding if you look into them, and seem to track enemy planes once they detect them. AAA also seems to concentrate on enemy aircraft illuminated by searchlights. (If so, searchlight behavior could be improved even more if 1-3 adjacent searchlights were to "lock on" to the same aircraft once one searchlight detects it, to make it harder for the plane to escape from the lights by taking evasive action. This was doctrine used by most nations during WW2.) |

i am preparing a big number of skins for the hurricane and the spitfire MKI squadrons from various airfields . i will get them ready and let you know off progress . I will include the squadrons of all the major airfields in the south . my name is AG.skins and i put up my work at M4T only. i do both default and mod work. i am releasing a big skin pack of hurricanes squadrons over the mediterranean soon covering Malta , Egypt , Lybia and Crete . i play mainly 413.2m , MODPACK and just recently i added COD . thank you for the news.

That would be wonderful! But please, add a later Hurricane I too, with somewhat higher performance than the current early one. No 3d modifications are needed, only a bit of FM tuning.

Assuming that the Hurricane Mk. I in the game represents late 1939 production, as shipped to the FAF during the Winter War, other marks of Hurricane I would be roughly as follows: March 1940 production - 12 lb. emergency boost (vs. 6 lb. for early production, for up to 5 minutes, using 100 octane fuel). Probably the easiest new variant to add. May 1940 production - As above, but also armor plate behind pilot's head and seat. Mark I "Tropical" (June 1940) - As above, but Vokes air filter added. August 1940 production - As for May 1940 production above, but Schilling orifice, improved fire protection for fuselage fuel tank (earlier version of the Hurricane were very vulnerable to fuselage fuel tank fires which could penetrate to the cockpit burning the pilot, especially when the plane was hit from the front). September 1940 production - Improved radio. IFF added. Radio aerials from rear fuselage to horizontal stabilizer. Radio aerial from radio mast to rudder removed and radio mast slightly revised. Slightly reduced top speed. |
