If your solution is running it as admin, then the problem is not the game.

Where is it installed BTW?

c:\program files(x86)\ubisoft... etc

Under Win 7 or 8, running the game from "c:\program files\..." is not a good idea. It causes many problems. Copy/move the whole game folder to another location, say, "d:\games\Il-2". (You can have multiple installs.)
