When I installed this sim on my Vista Home Premium 64-bit, I had to use the "a.exe"-file on the DVD to install. The regular setup didn't work for me. Never figured out why.

Hello Loopalot,
My advice is to burn a DVD on your old machine of the IL-2 folder and then just copy that to your new computer as stated above. NOT in the "Program Files" folder and not on the OS partition of your new hard drive. |

The reason for not using the "Program Files"-folder in Vista is that you can't change the ini-files if it is placed in "Program Files". Thus, you should create a separate folder on C:\ for games, and install IL-2 into that folder. This tip does not apply to Win XP.
