God no, are you kidding? That would probably be the most annoying thing I can think of.
 Well, you could also turn off the sound but I can honestly think of no case where that could possibly come in handy, you should be able to spot any treasure just by casually walking around the map so continuous digging is just for nervous people and those with OCD.
