Been lurking about since KB: TL came out. Just want to say that buying this was some of the best money I've spent on a game in several years.

Now for my question: will applying the patch break saves? I'd estimate that I'm halfway through the game at present. If I patch to 1.7, will I have to start over?

The saves from previous version should work with this patch.

I have the Nobilis boxed version and had previously patched to 1.6.5. no problem. 1.7 setup says "newer version already installed, continue??" so I don't think there's any difference between 1.7 and 1.6.5. Everyhing seems to work just the same anyway.
