"There is a playable alpha of a mod that allows your hero to participate in fights directly, sorta like Homm4"

What is this mod exactly, and from where to get it? And would it work with english version of the game?
(Sorry, but somehow i cant write in other topics, i can log in only to this one :S Maybe a problem with my Explorer, so thats why i ask that here)
