Cant kill the bloody spider

Ok I did the game as a Mage so I can't accurately counsel you but :
- I used some snakes (swamp & royal ones) cause they have an innate 80% poison resistance and can't be poisoned, as a result those snakes are good at tanking and killing spider spawns.
- I know that some warriors used Berserkers to great effect to hurt the giant spider, lot of damage.
- Trolls are also good because they can regenerate every turn.
- Warrior Maidens have a really good resurrection skill for your troops, as well as some nice damage.
