If it did work for furbs then I think a file may be corrupt in my install of the older game

Thanks Jaws...what I'm really interested in is the physical "aging" weathering. I want to fool around with that a bit to see if it worked at all. Neither one of the weathering sliders will write to my file

some progress ...for it to work in fmb (old game) you need to have at least one other airplane in your group. I will fly a full tank of fuel at 100% aging to see if I get a random system failure

Na physical weathering don't work, interestingly Kegety dumps a 109 folder when the physical weathering slidder is used, but nothing is written to my user file.
