Do Christa Gift work on undead now?

Somewhere in the bugs topic I found a link for the quickfix. But overall now the game is more bugged then it was after the 1st patch

damn right now i stopped playing because i refuse to go further without Christa's gift, its a very good skil early on, expecialy if i try to do flawless on warrior if you can link it pls, i had no luck finding the hotfix.

is this one of those "start a new game for the fix to work" patches? Because... if so, my Rage will skyrocket to 60. Who in their right mind makes such patches?

it probably is, and its not a standalone patch its probably released via steam.
i was hoping for something i could fix within a lua or get offline.

I still do not understand why some fixes work instantly and why other require a new game...
