bit of a catch 2020 here, i quite like the challenge of normal, but find that as i have just about to go forward i get onslaughted by 3 tanks. Then dont get anywhere..
BUt also i find Easy to easy. does the game get generally harder? Is there anything i can do to make normal a little less harder, but not like easy? |

I don't use direct control, I think I might struggle in normal with the missions that have u defending more than one flag ie overlord or carentean.
Does the game get harder on easy. ? I'm not sure how to mod and wouldn't know where to start. If I could change the tanks for ai or decrease the price for units might make more fun for me on normal, with some challenge Thanks for your help Last edited by Alfadan; 02-28-2013 at 10:08 PM. |

You should try DC. I don't use it for infantry but for AT guns and Tanks it can make a big difference. By keeping an eye on the mini-map you can see when a vehicle is coming. In DC you can have the right ammo loaded(AP or HE) and get off the first shot. Another thing that I do is look to see where the vehicle is going(mini-map) then select the nearest AT gun and target it. The gun will switch to the right ammo and take a shot as soon as it gets in range. When using DC with a Tank you can keep him in cover and pop out for a quick ambush.
When you get to certain "capture points" you should get a tank rush even on easy. I don't know how to make a mod either but I learned how to tweak my saved game files. Here is a link to a vid that shows how to tweak reinforcements, |
