Try to activate your game with GameSpy key on Steam service and use to play the game (you can download Steam client here: http://store.steampowered.com/). That should solve your issue.

No, you shouldn't pay anything extra. Run Steam client (I assume you have a Steam account already), click on Games in top menu and choose 'Activate...', then enter GameSpy key (multiplayer key) you have. Please tell us if this solves the slowdown issue.

I got a code with MOW purchase (to activate) so i presume this is the code. |

You should have two codes, one for activation and one for multiplayer - use the multiplayer code to activate the game in Steam.

I did try putting my MP code into steam and it didn't recognise it. I didn't try Mp yet and get gamespy account.
however I did apply the rather 3 large patches unbeknownst to me, and it seems to be much smoother now...! ive played the same area which I had the problem and it hasn't done it in an hours playtime. So think were okay now.. thanks guys for the assistance much appreciated..... |
