You can find him, when heading towards the teleporter to the Crestone Mine and then turn right. When you first enter New Kordar this way was blocked if I remember right. The problem at this point is, that you get no hint about the fact that this new teleporter is available.

This sounds helpful, but I can't find it. I went to both teleporters, I am assuming you meant the one left when you enter Krodar from Creston mines, went up to the second floor, but there isn't anything there. Screens, if it's not too much trouble, please? My screens are below:
