How do you get Friend of the Pirates though? Helping the pirates gives you the the Sea Dog title.

Me too. Since u fight undead mostly, I rejected any change of title - cause if there is any bonus with title - I want that one...

Unless a patch changed it, you get the title from freeing the pirate prisoners quest on Western Freedom.
