I was thinking if it would be anyhow possible that Oleg would start crowdfunded project and buy CLoD engine and continue its development (under another brand). That would be so awesome...
Does anyone know if Oleg is involved in some simulator project at the moment?

No, Oleg works at Vizerra now, on 3d technologies.

I think as the modders use to say, it is sometimes easier to build your own 3d model than to try and import someone else's mess. What I mean is, the CoD engine was a great demonstration of what is achievable, even if poorly done - but it would be much easier to take what was learnt, and start again.
