NO way the R0F engine will work for a WW2 sim.
It cannot handle even modest numbers of ground objects. How are you going to simulate proper ground attack, which is the heart of the air war in the East? R0F is very enjoyable, but it is also very, very limited in it's capabilities. One look at it's sterile, picture post card world environment should be a big clue.
