The Channel ...close up:

and a nice sandy English beach....not the pebbly Brighton kind I'm familiar with...
( more like quick sand by the look of it...)

Victoria Cross
Flt.Lt. Jamens Nicholson was Fighter Command`s only VC.
He had won his Award with 249 Sqn. by attacking a BF 110 while his Hurricane stood in flames.

Great shots, Larry. I like the way you worked on a real event.

I used a 'blur' filter on these...

Keep 'em coming, chaps!

IMHO, this two screens look so incredibly like the actual thing, you are not kidding me anymore, mate! You were there, with your camera at the back seat of your 110, ein? and you must be some 93 y.o., am I right?.

Agfacolor...

Ilford...

It's silly little touches that could make it all graphically more pleasing - I mentioned the Morse code antenna wires earlier, and I haven't seen a village church in any of the villages yet (I've started placing them myself). Windmills - yes, they were about, but not in such numbers. And forests - they need toning down (that could be my fault for maxing everything out in options - will experiment). Brighton, Bournemouth and Southend piers would be nice...and so on and so on. But for all my whining, there are more than a few moments where I've thought "photo realistic is no longer just a phrase games developers throw about" Trouble is I'm having such a blast messing about with screenies that my actual flying time is suffering. And where is Portland? Putting that one right is beyond my capabilities.

Keep 'em coming, chaps!
