Tried the two tips provided in my previous mail. Still half a second input delay.
I noticed my keyboard has no input delay since when I pressed the left or right arrow buttons the plane immediately responded. As of my Saitek X52 stick it has half a second delay. I went to test Rise of flight just in case since it has been a while, no input lag there. My specs: Intel Core i7 960, 6GB DDR3, X58 chipset, HD 6950 2GB DX11, 60GB SSD Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. Satek X52 joystick.
