Thanks for all the hard work ! man we sure had some ups an downs . Even to the point of many quit it all together , sadly , But after the last couple alphas an now the final patch. It seem to have been very positive from my point of view ! More competitive plane sets , better fps etc etc, Is it perfect , no , but even though i'm really not interested in BOS , I will buy, to make sure you guys stay in the fight , to complete this series . of what i would hope would be many new theaters , Malta , africa , pacific etc , So again many thanks, an hopefully we can mend our torn , community ! With all the new people on TS an ATAG , I can only hope the game will start selling well again, SO YES I WOULD RECOMMENED TO MY FRIENDS NOW , SALUTE

Thanks For the Patch and the hard work that Luthier and Team have put into this Sim now and over the years.

Unlike some I have never found the need to be disappointed in watching the progression of this Sim come together, and understood that it was always a 'work in process' that benefited largely from the input the WWII aviation fanatics here have put into it.

....Not forgetting the IL-2 original series which kept me thoroughly entertained online for near 10 years...a BIG Thanks and ~S~

I look forward to buying 'Battle for Moscow' when it is available...

Tried it out today.
Still a Fing slide show on anything above medium graphics settings. Still appears to be no SLI support. Guns firing from 8 303's still only shows 2 sets of tracers instead of 8.

Trying to use my TrackIr gives me a headache now.
Mirrors still don't work right.

Frame rate average on my system was about 15fps.

AMD FX-8150 8 core processor.
32gb DDR3 Ram
Geforce GTX 460 w/ 1gb each x 2 (SLI)
ASUS Crosshair V Formula Main Board.

That much power and still can't run it at High settings.
I'm thoroughly disgusted with this sim and will NOT be purchasing the sequel until there is bonified proof that it actually works as advertised.

well, the spitfire is still disappearing in midranges which is extremely annoying!

now its really a shame that clod is abandoned and left in the state it is...
you cant fight what you dont see, and you Luthier introduced that bug with a former patch...
its really ridiculous that you dare to leave it in that state...
btw, its a specific spitfire problem.

meshshowlod=1 cures the problem but grinds my pc to a halt.
anything above =1 cures the problem as well, without any performance drop!but then your own plane is only partly visible...so this is of no use....

a really disappointed former customer

Thanks Luthier, BlackSix and the rest of you guys at MG.

I can't wait to test the patch, I am hearing good things .

All the best for the new game I will pre-order as soon as its available (as long as its not an MMO).

Thanks again (500 hours in COD and increasing )

Your system isn't that great man, no offense but The FX-8150s rate barely above old intel core 2 Q series quad cores and lower than the older Phenom 2 X4's, 460's in SLI only just match an ATI 7850 without an overclock...And that's in SLI supported games. Of course you're not going to run it on high. Cores don't mean everything.

Some bugs:

I have a frequent situation where al the effects like smoke, tracers... dissapear for a few frames, sometimes almost a second, and then appear again.

Also sometimes flying low near the edge of a cloud shadow you can see clearly really big pixels (about 200 m ) not blurred fom the cloud shadow texture.

As a special request, if not for CoD, at least for BoM, please, kill all the hard sun shadows when you are in a cloud shadow. You had this effect extemely nailed in the original game and was beautiful. I don´t know why you changed it in the las beta patch. In reality there is not hard shadows when you are already in a shadow area.
Overall, keep the good work.
