For what I paid, I thought it was worth it. The game isn't perfect, but it's improving with each patch. You'll have to make sure you have a good computer, and you might have to perform a few tweaks to get it running as well as possible.
As others have mentioned, Il-2 1946 has American planes (just about every major type, but heavy bombers are AI only right now) and it is a stable and well-proven game. However, on many levels it's not up to par with CloD, and I find it hard to return to. Cheers.
