I would add another point: if you change positions in bombers, and later the "position" dies, you get KIA points, regardless of whether that you sitting in that position or the AI.
I made bugtracker: Crew members KIA was added to the human pilot statistics (I made bugtracker feature ticket of gunner controls too (half year ago): Gunner unified controls)
