.
I tested the Spitfires and the throttle idle positions are corrected plus it is possible go to more than 2500 feet with all type of Spitfires with my system.
Now I am going to try to start them.
By the way sli or no sli there no difference any more with the new rc2 patch and the 306.97 nvidia drivers.

Did you follow their instructions on how to activate the SLI as per their first post?

Good that 1C still work on the beta patch.

I found that now British fighters have more adequate power/speed incrase with +12 lbs. Now there is difference between +6 1/4 and +12 lbs is ab. 30 mph which is good.

Still there are some FM's and performance errors in last RC beta:

- British fighters are too slow ab. 20-30 mph at sea level

- 109 is too slow ab. 25-30 kph

- Spitfire MK II now is slowier then Spitfire MK1 100 Octan at sea level

- Spitfire MK 1 100 Octan has engine bug - from ab. 8700 ft RPMs start shaking with no reason - other version seemed to be ok

- still all planes have too much loose engine power from ab. 15 000 ft and have much too low maximum service celling

BTW FM of Su26 is very good and now even better. It is possible to make all aerobatics manouvers like : flick roll, half flick roll, stall turn, spin, inverted spin -so general FM engine is good. But i wonder why such things are not possible to make with fighter planes in CLOD which should also do such manouvers like half flick roll or stall turn - i suppose something is not correct with rudder effectinves for these planes.

Kwaitek, I think it's not as bad as that. I managed 280mph, possibly about 283mph at sea level with the radiator to 'normal' and 40% fuel with 3000rpm. I ran for over 5 mins like this, temps held @ 102C water and 92C oil

I could also get the Hurricane to 27kft where max boost was -3lbs but I didn't get any speed tests because of server stoppage. Climb rate was definitely greatly improved.

Very happy with this patch, I think the Hurricane can fight like this.

Gromic got the Spitfire to 305mph sea level @ 35% rad and 2600rpm.

I've had the engine shake and so has Gromic in Spit and Hurricane, around 10k ft, but the second attempt in the Hurricane had no trouble at all. Gromic said the Spit would only stop shaking when 2lbs or less was applied. It's not a mix lever thing, we tried that.

Altitude issue with spits also (1a + 100oct).

At around Angels 11, I get sporadic engine ticking and 50rpm fluctuations (magneto drop?) which quiets down if rpm is reduced to 2600. Going higher to within 15k I have to drop boost to 2lbs. max or the engine feels like it's about to shake out of the aircraft. ASI shows 140 IAS at that altitude and continually drops to around 110 at 22k.

I'm enjoying the low altitude speed increase of the 100oct spit. Pushed one to 305 miles on the deck with 12lbs full boost / 2600 rpm and rads at 35%. Just watch your temps. They climb much faster (as it should).

Do I need to re-validate my steam install and then install the patch?

Not really but I would, this patch contains the previous RC and hotfix so in theory you could just let the files overwrite the old ones. But I always reinstall CoD to last official patch then install over that.

Someone tested if the Bf-109 stalls at the correct speed?
Do we have the same "bug" in the Bf-109 slats?
http://www.il2bugtracker.com/issues/310
That is a very, very, very, undesirable and hateful Bug
