The interface is completely redesigned and it is now a lot handier than in Soldiers or Faces of War.

This means that if i click on the grenade icon and then point at some enemy , my soldier won't anymore go kamikaze to destroy the enemy ?

They throw the grenade from a distance they can, however if you order them to do a kamikaze attack they will do it...
