Many of you have made donations to Rise of Flight when you bought an aircraft.

Aircraft are free on Cliffs of Dover.

You are fishing again Avro.

Is it 'fishing' because you don't agree? And is not RoF your 'chosen' sim of the two?

And are you now a self-appointed Moderator

kudos to those setting up a donation . . .

its good to donate to something you really believe in.

lots of mis information here.

the sequel isn't the mmo, just because black 6 can't comment on it, because he doesn't know or has been told about it but told he cannot make anything public.

luthier / B6 said there would be battle of moscow as next series.

this isn't the US white house where people can find out about black ops the day after, while previously it took years before people got their hands on classified mil ops . ..

ROF facts:

Forbes doesn't list ROF donations in its list of top global charities despite its vast popularity and joy that people get from playing it because all others (such as Red Cross, Catholic Charities) pale in comparison and make give them a bad impression.

Blizzard, American Medical Association (AMA) and American Psychological Association (APA) are reluctant to count ROF is an addictive substance. AMA and APA run test but subjects become fans of ROF and bias the studies, Blizzard doesn't want to admit losing WOW millions to ROF.

Chuck Norris facts won't state that in reality and in the ROF game engine (which reality is modeled after), Chuck Norris misses some roundhouse kicks to ROF's Camels and Fokkers because while he can attain flight via roundhouse helicopter kicks, his killing device is his "engine" (his foot) while the bi planes have separate engines / props to fly and machine guns to kill.

No and no. All the aircraft in RoF are free by the way. You can purchase the cockpits however, to make them flyable if you wish. Though that is not a donation. It is payment in exchange for a product.

But that's the point. You hand money over to RoF (donate) to have a flyable plane. In Cliffs of Dover, you don't have to donate for a flyable aircraft.

It's no good having your entire planeset being AI.

In RoF, there are many other things you have to pay for, such as an Aldis gunsight. It's their chosen business model.

I have both sims and both have strengths and weaknesses.

Best Regards,

A donation is something you give a charity. When you donate something, you do not expect to get something in return. Buying an item in RoF is not a donation, its a purchase. You dont donate to a car dealership in exchange for a car. You need to look up the definition of DONATE.

While I like the system in RoF for buying planes ok, I dont care for the game itself. Also, it seems they are too much on making addons that generate money, yet fail to develop any kind of decent offline or co-op. Here, buy more streamers for your plane, and a new plane, and a compass! Yeah...all that is cool, but how about a real campaign, or some decent AI, or a real co-op mode? Nope...those dont make us money.

That being said, value for what you get in both RoF and CLoD seem to be lacking, imo.

Yeah, Jason gets his feelings hurt pretty bad when someone points out whats missing in RoF. After he slams CLoD and the MG developers, he cant seem to take the same level of crticism.

Glad you like me so much you troll me on other forums too. Do you have a crush on me? Kinda freaky.

It's not the same in RoF. You give some money and get something in return. It is a purchase. A donation would be giving money to clod developers and receiving nothing in return, except the hope of making a real purchase later on.
