I got myself 3 on the Bay too. Same sort of price, tho' my cheapest was £6.40, I felt sorry for the guy selling it to be honest.

I had occasion to take one apart when the power supply board failed and they are built like tanks inside. The software is a bit limited compared to logitec as you only get to utilize the native Windows drivers but as has been said by Pudfark you can edit the feedback files with a free utility called Fedit. But they work fine as is.

Thanks for the information guys.

So, I just bought a "new in box" red MSFFB2 from ebay. Am picking it up today!

He has two - so now I'm debating whether to get the second one (for modding, spare parts, whatever...). Dunno =-\

I just hope this thing actually works - new in box is nice, but it's still no guarantee.

*Edit* Just got home with my new toy . It's awesome! I haven't had a chance to edit any the force feedback, but it's great as is. Plug and play on my windows 7 64 bit. I'm surprised how much better this is compared to the g940 - it's truly night in day in the movement of the stick. The g940 felt like it was ratcheting around all the time, the MSFFB2 moves nice and smooth. Unless, of course, there's a good reason for FFB to be active . This means I'll have to decide - hook up the fighterstick grip to this base, or hookup the warthog grip to this base. */edit*
