Some really interesting information on this thread; information that I personally think should be included in the manual that comes with the game.

However, I just wanted to point out that the poster that pointed to the mirror as the culprit was absolutely correct. I turned that worthless thing off, and viola, my "on the ground" fps's were fixed straight away.

I am flying with the latest "official" non-beta version.

The Spitfire MKI to MKII could at least stay in the air for 3/4 of a hour at max speed and consuption this in the game is more than the time needed to go from Ramsgate to Watchfield going along the coast do you need more?
