Resoulution is an issue... but as they've mentioned they work on it and I'm sure they're going to improove on that. Resolution isn't that much of an issue these days where screens got smaller and higher resoluted (like the retina display froma apple for example). It's just a matter of time and it's still a dev kit right now.
But people who had've the chance to play Doom wearing the device were unanimous stunned. Even with low res.
I'd rather "be" in a pixelized game than "look at" a high resoultion monitor (I'm that excited about this ).
Time will tell, but I'm very optimistic!

In ten years there will be a pill to stop computer game addiction and resolution won't be an issue!

Yep. I've been tracking this project at mt3d.com for a good half year.

I even plopped the $500 (the old projected price) before Kickstarter to get Palmer started.

I'm super excited about it. This is going to be a game changer if they deliver what's been reported.

Watching the Kickstarter video made me grin to no end, I mean come on, it's STAR STUDDED. John Carmack, CliffyB, Gabe Newell, Michael Abrash - they all endorsed it after testing the prototype.

Didn't work for Metal Storm though.

I hope it does work out though. It would be friggin awesome and for only $5000, it's bugger all really, in the whole scheme of things.
