There are some people on the banana forum you can never please. At all. Ever.

BlackSix has told us they have made some improvements. He tried to demonstrate that with a few screenshots we now know were made under very specific circumstances which are unlikely to apply to most of the 100+ different PC specs out there never mind the widly differing game setings. Perhaps he should just have stuck to the words to avoid all the speculative crossfire.

So why not wait until you have the patch on your PC and have tested it before getting out of your prams to complain about it. Don't worry, I'll be the first to complain if I don't like it. When I've seen it.
+1 Its time they really got the ban hammer out, these guys are not going to stop and its ruining the community!

The only fault on this update is, that they have forgot to give us the systemspecs. of the test PC! Maybe that stopped the discusion before it starts!
I think it's a 2 core PC or worse with an older graphicscard! In this case the fps isn't such bad!
But let us wait and see....!

This forum should be set up with a corner that provides mandantory psychological treatment...

In all fairness, the "other" side is doing the same thing by saying "woohoooo, thaaaaanks, wow, 50% higher fps" etc, for a patch they have not yet seen. They still dont even know when they get to see the patch and thats not because the lack of promises mind you (read overdue). The "track record" if you will, should speak against any and all superlatives until claims are thoroughly proven, but, and this astonishes even me, it doesn't. It astonishes me despite the fact that i count myself into the "others" (well, maby not so much lately due to the track record thingy i mentioned earlier) and even i, any more, don't get all giddy for essentially nothing. Dont get me wrong, maby they v done something ground breaking but those screens say absolutely nothing either way. So, imo, its all talk until proven otherwise, just like it should be for everybodyelse if you really think about it in a calm relaxed manner.

Different side of the same coin and im for one is sick of the coin itself and what brought it here in the first place. And no, im not talking about the forum and its members.

Hit the nail on the head.

crikey, there would be no trouble getting a dummy spitting team together here

Agreed 100%

The only thing worse than whining is pre-whining

Bingo
+2

Good update, looking forward to give it a spin.
To the nay sayers. I would agree to all that whining if I had the feeling that Maddox Games is slacking. I do not. I have the feeling they do the best they can. And that is enough for me to have a positive attitude.

Whining never has improved anything. It is destructive. It gets everybody's mood down. And some people here do it on purpose with exactly that thought in their heads, to ruin it for everybody else. "If I can't have fun, nobody else shall!"

Thanks for the update! Are the cloud shadows back in the game or did I overlook them since the last official patch??
