Windows 7 64bit SP1
Intel Core 2 quad cpu q9450 @ 2.67Ghz 8gigs of ram (6.50 available) And ya mean just regular old DX9 off of Microsoft. I mean I have it installed or are you thinking of a corruption issue.

Well, it works for me on Win7 64-bit SP1, Core 2 Duo E8400, 4 gigs of RAM and Radeon 6850. What's your video card?
Also check DEP settings as described here (Steam version of the game uses Steam DRM instead of one used in Battlefront version though).
