Does the 'update' tell us anything really, I don't think so, just more of the same 'we're looking at it' or 'we're not looking at that' rubbish.

Throw a scrap out and keep the masses happy, or so it seems

There really isn't much more to say than "we're looking at it" or "we're not looking at it". Were you expecting to get dev meeting transcripts?

No, but if they are going to offer an 'update' at least have something to say?

We (the community) have been given the mushroom treatment now for 15+ months by 1C, am I wrong to think (or expect) anything above the normal 'nothing to say' 'update'?

They DID say something. They said what they're looking at and what they're not looking at. What other sorts of things were you expecting them to say?

After this amount of time that they had actually fixed something instead of just turning it off for a start.

What they are and are not looking at has hardly changed from day one, which indicates to me that they are lost and are just stringing it out in the hope
that peeps will stay with it.

In other words, you would be complaining no matter what they said.

It appears to be working. You're still here.

EXACTLY!!!!! Additionally, showing us screenshots of some add on that may be released in a year or two is hardly exciting, Im interested in THIS game, and not what may come down the pipe. All I see are shots of different colored planes flying over different colored landscapes which apparently will have the same crash/stutter/fps issues that this game has unless its all fixed, which, at this point, is not looking so good. You can dress up the landscape all you want, it doesn't change the fundamentals, which is we still have a game which is quite flawed, and we supposed to be impressed by the new "fall" trees.

If the nice autumn trees shimmer and stutter like the old ones, whats the point? same circus, different clowns.

Interesting read, thanks B6. More interested in actual tangible results though, next beta patch maybe?

@David Hayward - You sure do like to start an argument for arguments sake. Why you cannot just leave it alone and let people have their say is beyond me.. I can only think you do it for arguments sake. Can I suggest you message the person if you have to disagree with them because nobody else is interested in it. I was happy to see this post, but as usual we have to sift through all your comments to see what everyone else has wrote.

Thanks for the post Blacksix, I find it encouraging hearing this and looking forwards to this weeks patch.
